Lifestyle / Monday, July 13th, 2020

It is difficult to describe depression to someone who’s never been there, because it’s not sadness. Sadness is to cry and to feel. But it’s that cold absence of feeling—that really hollowed-out feeling. Anybody who knows what depression is, would understand the struggle and the pain of living life. Staying motivated in spite of depression is workable. Suffering from depression and still able to accomplish goals and feeling good about it, can be a way to go. Keeping a high spirit during depression can help you get rid of that quickly. Below are some ways which may help you to get rid of depression:

Eat Healthy And Eat Well

What you feed yourself, fuels your body and soul. The healthier you are, the better you feel about yourself and the more you can get going even through the tough times. It is important that you get to enjoy the food, which will somehow tone down your depression at a physical level so that you willingly subscribe to your diet plan. As our intentions are to clear the body of toxins and impurities. So you should eat healthy and well.

Sleeping Pattern And Exercise Routine

Exercise is good for the body in so many ways and it is sustainable. Make a routine and keep the good blood pumping which is better than taking anti-depressant pills. Also the goal is to feel rested, energized and ready for another day. That’s why sleeping pattern for 6-8 hours is must. Always remember you need not to win all battles at once. Slow and steady is all you need to get there.

Plan Your Day Work

This will give you a sense of direction and confidence. You will have things to look forward to everyday. Also when you are busy planning things, there will be less room for weight bearing thoughts in your head. So make sure to make your day plan.

Change Your Surroundings

If you are stuck in a place and need a breather, rearrange your furniture or decorate your room. Declutter your space. Sometimes the change of your surroundings is the boost that you needed. Such activities help your brain recognize fresh experiences out of your usual routine. Being outside the environment of your depression can give you a reset and help you stay motivated.

Meet Positive People

Positivity is contagious. Go find like-minded people. Human contact is important to help you navigate through your day. A good support group can also help you stay motivated in your life goals. Choose the people you stay close who you can trust with your life with. You will get your influence from them. Also, they can help you create positive circumstances that would help boost your ego.

Depression can break a person to the core. The pain it causes is so severe it can numb and paralyse the person. But the truth is – depression is not permanent.

See you soon. Xoxo!
